This week we received our 3rd L to J All Time Best scoring 52/168! (The star has a typo!) Bravo to all your hard work!!

Math fun- We had a little fun game with cups of hot chocolate, looking and what numbers become before and after. Here is Alex and Jayla with their game board.

Finally Creating Change Campaign- Our class collected 72.42$! Wow! It put a HUGE smile on my face when the kids would show up with little or big bags full of pennies. We have almost help 3 people receive a lifetime of clean water. In seeing the water that the Kenyans had to use and boil in order to be safe, this REALLY warms my heart!

If I don't see you before the holidays I wish you all a restful and joyful holidays!

15 days until Christmas!!

We are already in our last two weeks before Christmas break! This means alot going on both out of school and in school!

Here is a look at this week:

All week: Free the Children Penny Drive, Candy Cane Grams (see note in agendas)

Tomorrow: Christmas Concert at Vic Juba (see newsletters for details)
Wednesday: Early dismissal at 2:30 p.m.
Thursday: If weather permits, PhysEd will be held outside. Please ensure your child comes prepared for this much time outside.

Free The Children Penny Drive- Wow! We have already raised 18$ in just a few days. It takes 25$ to provide clean water for one person! It it warms my heart to see our class becoming involved with an initiative that is so close to my heart. I had the opportunity to try and carry river water back to the village like all of the school girls do and I let me tell you that my back was very sore before long. Here is the Free the Children promotional video:

Now a look at what we have been doing the past few weeks:

Voici ma famille: We worked on how to create people visually, while representing our family. Can you tell which is your family?

Marshmellow Math: We have been working at dividing a number between one and twenty into two groups. Here is a fun activity we did to represent two group!

See you at the concert tomorrow night!
