Recap and a look into the future

We have had a busy week back since Spring Break! The students have been working hard at their final project for the unit "Moi". As we start into our integrated unit "La famille", I would ask that you send with your child a photo of your family. We will be introducing our families to each other as well as discussing what makes a family and how families are often different. We will return the picture when we are done with them. Merci!

L à J-

Another All Time Best in L à J les nombres! We have broken the 100 mark and the students are very proud of their successes!

We are still working on getting another All Time Best in our L à J spelling. I encourage you to pick 5 words a week to practice with your child! Try practicing them a differenct way every night! Try using fridge magnets, playdough, pen and paper, saying the letters out loud, writing them in salt or sugar!

Next Week:

Monday November 19th- 2 Bobcat players will be visiting our classroom. Your child may choose to wear a jersey to school that day!

Tuesday November 20th- Pizza partie to celebrate our school's Seasons of Savings coupon book success.

Friday November 23rd- Saintly Gardens from 1:15- 2:15

I wish you all a great weekend! Please feel free to contact me at any point if you have questions or concerns!

News for this week

I hope you all enjoyed the fall break with your children! This morning our class enjoyed sharing with each other their favorite moment from their week off!

Tomorrow- Please ensure your child comes to school with their favorite object tomorrow, as they will be presenting it to our class by describing why it is special to them. As well, they will be using two other caracteristics to describe their object.

Wednesday- Early dismissal at 2:30 p.m.

Thursday- Please return Take Home Reading envelopes with the green form and the books.

Other news- Today you should have received information about our Sausage and Cookie Fundraiser. Both of these fundraisers need to be returned by November 23rd. There is a classroom challenge for a Pizza Party, so I encourage you all to get onboard with working together to raise funds for new playground equipment and school improvements!
