October Wonderland

October is upon us! Time for our first fall craft. Can't wait to post a picture of these when they are complete. :) Friday students should have came home with a few of the crafts from the month of September. Please enjoy the treats and send the envelope back to school.

This coming week:

Wednesday: Early Dismissal at 2:30
                    Junior ATB Deposit Day
Thurday: Please return all remaining Coupon Books  and money.

We will be rescheduling our library time due to Early Dismissal, so please ensure library books are returned to school by Tuesday.

This week we will be are starting into the vowel sound "i". Words you can practice along with us are il, samedi, petit, petite

Fall weather- With the colder weather upon us, please ensure your child is coming dressed for the weather! 30 minutes outside can be quite chilly if you are underdressed. Don't forget to label your child's mitts and toques as they become much easier to locate if ever lost.

Junior ATB: Junior ATB is having their first deposit day on Wednesday. What is Junior ATB? Students can open real savings accounts, or make deposits in already existing accounts. It is a wonderful way to teach financial literacy to children of any age. Please contact me if you would like to find out more about this program.

Friday we enjoyed the last day of Pattern math centers as we are moving onto Numbers to 20. Here is a glimpse of some of the students enjoying their centres!
